Terms of Service

Effective and last updated September 22, 2026 · Version 2026-09-22

These Terms govern your use of Sweep, a flight decision tool operated by Sweep Flights LLC, a Michigan limited liability company.

Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using Sweep, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you create an account on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Eligibility and U.S. availability

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to use Sweep. The service is intended for individuals in the United States. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply where you access or use it.

What Sweep provides

Sweep helps you define flexible trip constraints, searches a bounded set of flight options supplied by third-party data providers, and ranks complete itineraries using price, schedule, duration, stops, and your stated preferences. A Sweep is a sampled search of a reasonable trip space; it is not a promise to search every fare, airline, itinerary, or valid date combination.

Ask Sweep can help edit supported trip controls, explain results, and research travel context. Automated output can be incomplete or wrong. Important details should be checked with the relevant airline or travel provider before you act on them.

Sweep does not sell or book travel

Sweep is not an airline, travel agency, ticket seller, tour operator, or party to any reservation or contract of carriage. Selecting a booking link sends you to an airline, Google Flights, or another independent provider. That provider—not Sweep—controls the displayed offer, accepts payment, issues any ticket, confirms the reservation, and handles changes, cancellations, refunds, baggage, seating, delays, and customer service.

A booking handoff recorded by Sweep means only that a link was opened; it does not establish that a reservation was completed. Third-party terms and privacy policies apply to your interactions with them. Sweep may later receive referral compensation from some booking links, but compensation does not make Sweep the seller or provider of travel.

Prices, schedules, availability, and alerts

Flight information can change at any time. Prices may exclude baggage, seat selection, payment, change, or other charges unless the result expressly includes them. Currency conversion and provider information may be delayed, approximate, or unavailable. The price and terms shown by the booking provider when you complete a purchase control.

Saved-flight checks and price-alert emails are best-effort convenience features. They may be delayed, limited, paused, or unable to find the same itinerary. Sweep does not guarantee that an alert will arrive before a fare changes or disappears.

Your travel decisions

You are responsible for reviewing dates, airports, operating carriers, connections, separate-ticket risks, fare rules, baggage restrictions, accessibility needs, and traveler details before booking. You are also responsible for passports, visas, health and entry requirements, insurance, and other travel documents. Sweep does not provide legal, immigration, medical, financial, or safety advice.

Accounts and communications

You must provide accurate account information, protect any password you use, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use through any support method made available in the service. You are responsible for activity under your account unless prohibited by law.

Verification, security, recovery, requested price alerts, and material service notices are operational communications. Product-news email is optional and controlled separately in Profile. You may withdraw that preference without losing access to Sweep.

Usage limits and paid features

Sweep may apply trial, monthly, provider, abuse-prevention, and other usage limits. Limits may vary by account type and may change prospectively. Editing or viewing existing results does not itself guarantee continued access to live provider searches. If paid credits or subscriptions are introduced, their price, renewal, refund, and cancellation terms will be disclosed before purchase.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use Sweep unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person;
  • bypass access controls, usage limits, rate limits, or security measures;
  • scrape, crawl, bulk-download, reverse engineer, or automatically access the service except through an interface we expressly provide;
  • probe for vulnerabilities, introduce malicious code, interfere with operation, or burden Sweep or its providers; or
  • submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or that you do not have the right to provide.

Your content and feedback

You retain ownership of trip details, messages, and other content you submit. You grant Sweep a limited, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except where limited retention is required for security, legal compliance, or routine system integrity.

If you submit ideas or feedback, Sweep may use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

Sweep intellectual property

Sweep and its software, design, branding, and original content are owned by Sweep Flights LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service as provided. They do not transfer ownership or grant a right to use Sweep’s marks.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Sweep or delete your account at any time. Sweep may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service; investigate abuse; comply with law; or address a material breach of these Terms. Account deletion removes Sweep-controlled account data as described in the Privacy Policy but does not cancel any booking made with a third party.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sweep is provided “as is” and “as available.” Sweep Flights LLC disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free output, complete search coverage, any particular fare, or a successful booking.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sweep Flights LLC and its members, personnel, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, savings, opportunities, goodwill, travel, or replacement arrangements, arising from or related to Sweep or a third-party travel provider.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, their aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to Sweep will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Sweep during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Sweep Flights LLC from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of Sweep, your infringement of another person’s rights, or your material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to claims caused by Sweep’s own unlawful conduct.

Governing law and courts

Michigan law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally must be brought in a state court located in Oakland County, Michigan, or a federal court with jurisdiction serving that county, and each party consents to those courts. Mandatory consumer protections that apply to you remain unaffected.

Changes to these Terms

Sweep may update these Terms as the service changes. The current version and effective date will remain available here. Account holders will be asked to accept material updates before continuing to use authenticated features. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.

General terms

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without Sweep’s consent; Sweep may assign them in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the service. These Terms and any feature-specific terms presented to you are the entire agreement about Sweep.
